Bingkai's Home Hunting

It has been a month in Geelong, we have been busy looking for a home for Bingkai. We looked around the city and came across a few good retail shops. But, we are looking for a place with characteristics and not `ordinary' retail shop to build Bingkai's framing workshop and artwork showroom.  And most importantly, the rent has to be within our budget! With all the points in our list, we have had some hard time in finding a place.

After days of hunting, in a happy coincidence we bumped into a gallery curator who is transforming an old industrial building into a creative hub & artists studio. And, he has invited us to join him with other artists, craftsmen, photographers, architect and interior designer to share the unique space.

We love this old shabby building for its raw unique beauty, the red brick wall, the tin shed, the roof truss and the inheritance of Geelong industrial history. It has the charisma that fascinates us. If we could join this creative community in near future, we would be so grateful. We could envision how the space would showcasing Bingkai's frames and artworks beautifully.

Please let us know what you think.

Cheers! ~
